We started out in church ministry in 1988 after managing a Christian band for two years. God opened a door for us to shepherd hundreds of middle schoolers at Fellowship Bible Church, in Roswell. We were there for 11 years.

During our tenure at Fellowship, we served in various roles including junior high pastor, college pastor, and worship leaders.

Jim and Elizabeth married in 1987. They have 3 children, Jake, Erica, and Elysia, and a dog named Rocket.

Sarah and I have both been ministering to youth for over 10 years. Sarah was a teacher, youth coach and mentor to youth in her home church in Virginia Beach. In college, I served two summers outfitting home repair missions for teens. While in seminary, I served at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC, working four years with youth and children's ministries. We were brought to Crosspoint in January, 2006 to direct its education ministries to children, youth, and adults.

We married in 2000; Will was born 2003. We have one pet - a rabbit, Maya Grace.

We met in a Bible study at Oglethorpe University where we both grew as student leaders.  Following graduation I served as Campus Minister for Oglethorpe Christian Fellowship for two years.  I loved my time there, learning how to teach and shepherd students in the good news of Jesus Christ and how it affects all of life.  During this time I also had the privilege of leading music and training other music leaders at Oglethorpe and two local Atlanta churches.

We also lived in St. Louis for four years where God gave us hearts for ministries of justice and mercy, as well as for hospitality.  I was honored to participate in tutoring and nursing home ministries in the inner-city, and we both enjoyed opening our home weekly for times of small group prayer, fellowship, and Bible study.

We were married in 2001 and have one son, Logan (2005), and one dog, Paducah.

Jose and Jim met by God's divine Providence through our New Church Network and the Synod of the City.  Jose joined Crosspoint's pastoral staff to co-shepherd the church with Jim and to minister the gospel to the large Hispanic community in Smyrna.  In January, Crosspoint sent the Mateo's out to plant "Emmanuel Church" in West Cobb/East Paulding County area.

Jose and Ana were married in 1993; they have 3 children Briana, Kelsey and Jalen, two dogs, Pepper and Betty Boop and two lizards Butch and Freedom J.
